The Magnes Collection of Jewish Art and Life Museum Project - Berkeley, CA
Pfau Long Architecture
A $5 million project
consists of full interior remodel and full seismic upgrade. A long span steel truss was
used in order to remove two major interior columns in the large event space. The museum occupies the ground
floor (16,231 sf), and the upper floor (7,598 sf) will be used as a research facility by UC Berkeley.
